The Read-2-Lead program has designated the book Satisfied with Nothin' by Ernest Hill as Book of the Summer, 2004. Students and the community are encouraged to read the book.
The Africana Center is a part of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library and is partnering with the Read-2-Lead program to host the Read-a-Lot Summit. The Read-a-Lot Summit will engage youth (aged 13+) and the community in an exciting and enriching literacy experience. At the Summit, the author will discuss the book and answer questions from the audience
